Welcome to Insect World
 Thank you for visiting the Insect World web site! We are a San Diego, CA based supplier of dried, adult insects. We carry thousands of different species from domestic to tropical from over 40 different countries. We supply retail as well as wholesale insects. Our specimens are used by framers, florists, the movie industry, artists, researchers, students, collectors, etc. Insect World has been in business for over 30 years. Helping to support the preservation of the rainforest and habitat by encouraging the development of insect farms all over the globe, is an important mission in our business. Also, we are now offering spread insects! Currently only butterflies and moths are available in limited variety and quantity. We will be adding to the selection continually so check back often to see what's available! For full details on spread insects please see the ordering information page. We are happy to help with any projects, displays, collections, etc. that you may be working on, so please don't hesitate to contact us for information! Great new changes have been made to our website for speedier ordering and checkout. Searches have also been simplified to find just the insect you're looking for. There are no longer lists to search through. To browse our available insects, hit the "Browse Insects" button and choose a category or search by a specific criteria. Then choose whether you wish to search by a list or photos only. We have brought you the highest quality, digital images of our insects. We do ask for your cooperation in not copying or illegally distributing any of the images/photos that you view. We do occasionally authorize noncommercial organizations to use our photos. If you are interested in any photo please contact the webmaster to find out more. New photos are up! We are diligently working on photos now. We know what a pain it has been not being able to view all of our insects.
